Environmental sustainability.
At Agrolatina, we believe healthy soil grows more than fruit—it grows futures. Our farming practices are rooted in environmental responsibility, from efficient water use and regenerative soil care to low-impact transportation and waste reduction. We cultivate with nature, working in harmony with the land to protect ecosystems and preserve resources for generations to come.
-
We execute projects to protect and restore local ecosystems, promoting sustainable agricultural practices, efficient water management, and climate change mitigation. Including our ongoing project with Huarango Forest plantations.
-
At Agrolatina, we are committed to sustainable water management through four key pillars: polymer integration to reduce irrigation needs, continuous use of drip irrigation systems monitored with advanced soil probes, strategic reservoir construction to ensure water availability during shortages, and a long-term management plan to expand these practices across all plantations. These efforts ensure optimal water use while preserving resources for future generations.
-
As part of our commitment to environmental stewardship, we partnered with a local NGO to launch the Bee Better biodiversity program within a native Huarango forest—an iconic ecosystem in the region. Supported by the Bee Better certification, 20 biodiversity islands were installed to restore ecological balance and create microhabitats for native bee species. Biannual monitoring has already shown measurable increases in species diversity and density, highlighting the project’s positive impact. This initiative reflects our belief that responsible agriculture must go hand in hand with protecting Peru’s natural heritage and regenerating vital ecosystems.

Renewable energy is central to our commitment to sustainable agriculture. At Don Pepe Farm (Ica), 3 hectares of solar panels generate clean energy to power our field production facilities, with a capacity of up to 2.8 MW per hour. Building on this success, an additional system—covering 3 more hectares—is planned for 2025 to supply power to our packing plant, strengthening energy efficiency across operations.
The journey continues at Chauchilla Farm (Nazca), where another 3 hectares of solar panels are scheduled for installation in 2025. Together, these projects not only reduce our carbon footprint but also reflect our long-term vision: to lead with innovation, lower our environmental impact, and ensure a more sustainable future for our land and communities.
Social responsibility.
Our commitment goes beyond the field. Agrolatina invests in the wellbeing of the communities that surround us—creating stable jobs, supporting education and healthcare initiatives, and fostering opportunities for growth. We believe that every harvest should uplift the hands that made it possible, nurturing stronger, more resilient communities alongside our crops.
-
We implement programs that enhance the quality of life in communities near our operations, focusing on education, health, infrastructure, and economic empowerment.
-
We collaborate with vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and indigenous communities, ensuring their active participation in all foundation initiatives and promoting gender equity and diversity.
-
We continuously forge strategic alliances with governmental, non-governmental, and private sector organizations to maximize the impact of our actions and ensure the long-term sustainability of our projects.
-
We develop awareness campaigns and educational programs for the local community on the significance of environmental conservation, food security, and sustainable development.
